2. If you look closely at the 8 of Diamonds you can actually see the image of a number 8 between all the diamonds.
3. The King of Hearts is the only king that has no a mustache.
4. The King of Hearts is also referred to as the 'Suicide King" which presumably originated from many years of poor design printing and errors. The original card design showed the king holding a battle axe behind his head but through the years the axe gradually changed into a short sword which appears to be piercing through his head.
5. The King of Diamonds, also known as the One-eyed King is shown in a side profile. The other three kings are shown from the front. The King of Diamonds is also the only king that is not holding his weapon.
